Methodology
Industrial efficiency
Optimisation of industrial processes that involves reduction of energy or material usage or recapture and utilisation of waste products.
About the project
This project aims to install state-of-the-art solar irrigation systems on smallholder farms in Kenya to replace existing fossil fuel generators. With easier access to water for irrigation, the project helps in irrigating the crops throughout the year, enabling resilient soils during the dry season, thereby increasing the productivity and revenue of the farmers.
