About the portfolio
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change identified in their latest publication (Figure SPM.7, 6th assessment report) four areas with the highest climate mitigation potential: fuel switching, agriculture, buildings and forest protection. This portfolio is constructed by including projects that directly contribute to these four mitigation areas and weighted based on their relative potential contribution; a carbon offsetting strategy backed by the latest climate science.
